Ugandan DJ and entertainer Last Gal is set to headline her first solo show in October, marking a major milestone in her rise as one of the country’s leading female DJs.

Dubbed The Last Gal, the DJ showcase and rave is scheduled for Friday, 2 October 2026, at Guvnor Street in Kampala.

The event will put Last Gal at the centre of a night built around her sound, stage presence and journey as a solo performer.

For the DJ, the show is more than another nightlife event. It represents a new chapter in her career after years of building a name for herself both locally and internationally.

“This showcase is a true reflection of my growth, my passion and my solo journey,” Last Gal said.

“‘The Last Gal’ is more than just a party; it is a full-blown electronic and musical rave where I get to connect deeply with my fans and also tell the female DJ story.”

She also promised an immersive experience featuring music, lighting, audiovisual production and several surprises for revellers.

Last Gal first gained wider attention as part of a DJ duo with media personality and DJ Etania, known as ‘Life of the Party’. After the duo parted ways, she embarked on a solo career and has since performed in Uganda and other markets, including Kenya, Rwanda and Dubai.

She has continued to strengthen her profile as a standalone performer, including through her Last Girl on the Ones and Twos segment on Radio 4 Uganda’s Kiwoowo Friday.

The October show will now give her an opportunity to headline an event carrying her own name and showcase the sound and identity she has developed since going solo.

Guvnor Street, located on First Street in Kampala, will provide the setting for the event. The venue has become a popular destination for music and nightlife experiences, having hosted live performances, international acts and themed parties.

Organisers have released several ticket options for the show.

Early-bird ordinary tickets cost Shs50,000, while tickets bought at the gate will cost Shs100,000. Gold VIP tickets are priced at Shs2 million, while the Platinum VIP package costs Shs4 million.

Tickets are available through MTicket, with fans also able to purchase them by dialling 2524#.
