One of Uganda’s female DJs, DJ LAST GAL, has announced her first-ever solo headline event.

Dubbed “THE LAST GAL: A DJ Showcase and Rave Party,” the event will take place on Friday, 2 October 2026, with organisers saying the venue will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

The show is expected to deliver a high-energy nightlife experience, featuring DJ LAST GAL’s signature mixes, immersive audiovisual production and an electrifying rave atmosphere. Organisers say the event has been designed to celebrate her growth as a solo entertainer while giving fans an unforgettable night of music.

Speaking after the announcement, DJ LAST GAL described the event as the biggest moment of her career so far.

“This showcase reflects my growth, my passion and everything I have built since starting my solo journey. It is more than just a party. It is a full rave experience where I can connect with my fans and celebrate the journey of female DJs. We are creating an immersive entertainment experience for one night, and I promise plenty of surprises,” she said.

DJ LAST GAL first made a name for herself as one half of a popular DJ duo with media personality and fellow DJ Etania, popularly known as Life of the Party. The pair became one of the most recognised female DJ acts in Uganda before deciding to pursue separate careers.

Since going solo, DJ LAST GAL has continued to build her reputation, performing at major festivals, clubs and entertainment events across Uganda and beyond. Her performances have also taken her to countries including Kenya, Rwanda and the United Arab Emirates, where she has earned praise for her energetic sets and ability to keep audiences engaged.

Her upcoming headline show is expected to showcase not only her technical DJ skills but also the evolution of her brand as one of Uganda’s fastest-rising entertainers.

Although the venue is still being kept under wraps, organisers say it has been carefully selected to accommodate the large-scale production and the crowds expected to attend.

More details, including the venue, ticket prices, early-bird sales and guest performers, will be announced in the coming weeks through DJ LAST GAL’s official social media platforms.
