Brace yourselves, all you Basoga living in America! The biggest diaspora event for Basoga; the Twegaite convention returns this May.
And just like last year, Busoga’s own Douglas Suubi aka MC Daggy Nyce is the host of the event, which is slated for May 25 to 30 at the Gayway National Resort and Convention Center in Washington DC.
What Daggy Nice is not telling however, is how much he’s bagging from the deal. When we asked Daggy Nyce to tell us, all he could say was, “I am happy that my people chose me again; this is an honour!”
In other convention news, Speaker Rebecca Kadaga was selected as guest of honour for the five-day event, but a source told us she has hinted on interesting the Kyabazinga to find time off his schedule to celebrate with his America-based subjects.
