‘Slave Isaura’, a new soap opera is set to premiere on Record TV

A new exciting soap opera titled ‘Slave isaura’ is set to take over your primetime TV schedule this month. Slave Isaura tells the story of a coffee-plantation owner’s passion for one of his slaves. She however, isn’t interested in him and decides to flee the city to start a new life. She changes her identity and even gets a new job.

Unfortunately, this new found freedom is shortly lived as she’s found and taken back to the farm where she has to face the wrath of the coffee plantation owner. How she struggles to set herself free, is what makes this soap opera a real must to watch.

It will premiere on Record TV on Wednesday 26th July, 2017 at 8:00pm.

“We are so excited about the premiere of Slave Isaura and believe it’s going to become part and parcel of many Ugandan households. It’s a captivating and an addictive story that will keep you glued to your TV, “said Ezekiel Motsoeneng, Record TV’s new Managing Director.
The soap opera is part of the TV channel’s rebirth strategy, and it’s just one of the many exciting shows they’re rolling out this year. Other exciting shows include Kiggunda which airs every day at 4PM, hosted by MC Luzze formerly of WBS TV and Jajja Bruce a comedy show at 6:30pm.



The channel’s new MD, who is behind these new changes comes in from Record TV Madagascar where he recorded a huge successive growth of the channel since he took over in 2014.

Record TV is available on StartTimes channel 015 and GOTV channel 815.
