Comedian Patrick Idring aka Salvado together with his girlfriend and members of his Man From Ombokolo (MFO)2 team, traveled to Home of Hope, a center for children with severe or multiple disabilities in Jinja yesterday. Salvado and his team took along lots of goodies that they donated to the children. But it wasn’t the comic’s neither his team’s first time at the home. Salvado and friends have been to the home more than thrice and donated, as well as engaged with the kids there.

The comedian said that out of his visits he was able to understand that in addition to feeding, the children at the home have needs such as medication. According to Salvado, the home needs additional staff for significant care plus therapists to help the children improve physically, daily medication and eventually a clinic since the children are at times denied medication in certain hospitals.

It’s on that note that the comedian decided that ‘for every ticket of MFO purchased, a percentage will go support the Home of Hope. Salvado also called upon his fans that are looking forward to attend his show to carry something for the Home of Hope; “everything counts; even if its 1k! Let’s prepare a night of fun and laughter, but one where we’ll come out with extra happiness for helping children with severe disabilities,” he said. MFO2 is slated for October 27 at Imperial Royale Hotel. Go Salvado!
