Socialite Jack Pemba is unhappy with rumours that circulated on one of the local websites that he is not on good terms with Brian Ahumuza, the organiser of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, days after the event in which he injected Shs100m.

The website claimed that Pemba was angry because he felt he didn’t get enough credit as his name wasn’t constantly mentioned at the awards.

When the rumour got to Pemba, he cleared the air, saying he is on good terms with Brian and that he is extending his ASFA support to the tune of Shs500m for the next three years.

Brian says he was also shocked with the story and he had to call Pemba to ensure all was fine as the tycoon is set to announce his three-year sponsorship tomorrow.

Pemba supported last week’s ASFAs with a whooping Shs100m and in return, his wife Sheeba Kassami used the platform to launch her SKP fashion label with a breathtaking showcase.

“The rumours are not true. I am very happy with what Abryanz has done for SKP and Pemba Sports Africa and we are signing a three year contract to support him for 2018, 2019 and 2020,” Pemba said.
