Grammy Award winner Richard Bona in town for Johnnie Walker Jazz Safari

Grammy award winner Richard Bona has jetted into the country ahead the 11th edition of the annual Johnnie walker Jazz Safari slated for this Saturday June 30 at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Bona who announced on his social media pages yesterday that he was indeed on his way to the Pearl of Africa landed this Thursday morning a head of his performance at the annual event.

“It’s my first time to Uganda. I hope you are ready because I am. I can’t wait to see and share with all of you.  Showtime is this Saturday,” he said.

The Cameroonian born Bona will share the stage with local jazz musicians including Kaz Kasozi, BlackRoots UNLIMITED, Michael Kitanda, Tony Trumpet and Aloysious Migadde.

Tickets to the event are still on sale at Game Lugogo, Shoprite Acacia Mall and House of Walker (Kampala Sheraton Hotel). An individual ticket goes for Shs130k while a table of 10 goes for Shs3m.
