A living legend and one of the most powerful voices in African music, Yvonne Chaka Chaka is in town. The 80’s, 90’s top star will be performing yet again at the Serena Hotel in a charity concert this Friday.

The singer jetted in yesterday evening in company of her son. As usual, Ugandan ladies were quick to question his marital status. When asked about her son’s marital status after she introduced him, she did not mince any words.

“He is single”, she stated much to the excitement of the women.

The singer jetted from Kisumu where she had been with visiting former American President Barrack Obama in Kogelo. She will join the South African community and Pan Africanists today to celebrate the Nelson Mandela day as the world marks what would have been the icon’s 100th birthday.
