Over the weekend, the 2018 Annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) was held in Dallas, Texas. The event saw heavy weights in the African music industry flock the venue with hopes of scooping the top accolades.

Unlike in the last edition where Uganda walked away with only one accolade that was brought by the Ghetto Triplets for ‘Best African Dance Group’, the Pearl of Africa this time made it better by taming two awards.

Together we put in a lot of work this whole year….a lot of moves and I promised you God will come through for the Brand Ykee Benda….but I dint know he would do some of his magic this very year.  I can’t stop crying while I thank him for not letting me down.”
