It is a public secret, that over the last two or so years the informal marital relationship of star singers Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo (Edirisa Musuza) has always survived total collapse only by the skin of its teeth. So much, Rema even made a couple of songs about the precarious situations the relationship found itself in. Such as the famous Sili Muyembe in which she appeared to caution Kenzo that if he didn’t become serious she was about to be snatched from his grasp.

Rema and Kenzo

Now we have word from reliable sources that the relationship between Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo has hit its lowest ever, and might not rise back to its feet again. So much that Rema has for almost a week now been out of Kenzo’s plush Sseguku pad, having left because she felt she could no longer be in a relationshi with the Sitya Loss star.

Our reliable sources tell us that Rema packed her belongings and left Kenzo’s pad some days ago, and has since been staying at an undisclosed somewhere in Namugongo. And that the singer has told her confidants that it’s all over between her and Kenzo.

On where exactly Rema is staying, our source says they are also yet to really come to terms, because some people say it’s Rema’s own new house that she has been constructing over the years, while others say it belongs to Rema’s friend whom she is temporarily living with. (We shall give you a clarification on this soon, too).

Reportedly, the main cause of the trouble is Kenzo’s rumoured weakness for women which has made him have a whole chain of them on his fingers, as well as his failure (unwillingness?) to make matters official between him and Rema official.

Rema and friend Fayth Presh. Rema posted this picture yesterday, congratulating Presh upon becoming an expecting mother, and many of the singer’s fans complemented her that now she is away from Kenzo’s home she looks less stressed but rather happy.
