Kampala’s revelers were on Saturday treated to a party on wheels like no other as Johnnie Walker took them on a first of its kind Party Bus trip that featured outings at different bars in town.

Uganda Breweries (UBL) and House of DJs organised the Johnnie Walker Party Bus, inviting city partiers to experience a journey they had never experienced before. For the dozens that secured a seat as the buses set off from Legends bar on Saturday evening, a memorable experience was indeed to follow.

With the Johnnie Walker flowing endlessly and good music blaring courtesy of House of DJs, the mood was set for an evening of unmatched bliss, as the Party Bus made its first stop at Gabs Bar in Bugolobi where there were entertained to jazzy tunes of Michael Ouma and Joseph Saxx before heading to Atmosphere for a silent disco and winding up at Guvnor.

On or off the Party Bus, the passengers danced throughout, enjoying treats in specially set up Johnnie Walker lounges at each of the bars where the bus stopped.

The Johnnie Walker Party Bus is a fun event that will bring together Kampala’s partygoers, media personalities and socialites once every month, with the bus going around the city to four different hangouts for each outing.

“We are set on transforming the way that Kampala people party. And I believe with the JW Party Bus campaign, we will be able to achieve that. Guests on the bus can be sure to enjoy the ultimate Johnnie Walker experience, and dancing the night away to some of the hottest DJs in town,” Annette Nakiyaga, the UBL Head of Whisky, said.

Revelers hoping to be a part of the Party Bus will be required to buy tickets to gain access to the bus, as well as Johnnie Walker lounges set up at the selected hangouts.
