Police has arrested a ‘prophet’ who beat up ushers because of his lost miracle stick.

On Wednesday, a shocking video showing a one prophet Denis Kintu, of the Empowerment City Church in Hoima, beating his church ushers went viral on social media.

In the video, Kintu was seen caning his church ushers one by one while demanding they recover his miracle stick.

The video caused public outrage, with the majority asking the government to start regulating born-again churches.

The new development indicates that police in Hoima arrested Kintu this morning.

Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson, confirmed the arrest and revealed that they will soon release an official statement.

“We have him in custody.” I am going to put out a statement later on, “said Hakiza.
