Though many Ugandans especially from the opposition have been repeatedly saying the age limit amendment only favours president Yoweri Museveni, Rtd Major General Jim Muhwezi says former FDC president Dr Kiiza Besigye will also benefit.

While appearing before the parliamentary legal committee yesterday to give his view about the amendment of article 102b of the constitution, Muhwezi who was accompanied by a group of other officers that included; Lieutenant Ibrahim Muyomba, Corporal Rose Katusiime, Lieutenant Wasswa Juma among others the veteran bush war general said’ “The amendment of the age limit will favour everybody to stand and contest for presidency and its upon the citizen to vote on the best candidate.”
