VIDEO: After visiting Bobi Wine, Lukwago narrates what happened and his current condition

Heading the team appointed by Kizza Besigye,  Erias Lukwago has revealed what exactly happened to Kyadondo East MP Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine after speaking to the legislator. He was addressing the press after visiting Bobi Wine at Makindye Barracks where he is currently detained.

‘He was attacked by several soldiers’. 

According to Lukwago, Bobi Wine is in a ‘very terrible’ state and his health is deteriorating. He stated that Bobi Wine, at the moment cannot stand or sit and his supported by soldiers even when helping himself. While at Pacific Hotel, Arua, Bobi Wine revealed that he surrendered to the soldiers and raised his arms up but was greeted by torture including being hit with iron bars.

‘Everybody was in tears’

According to Lukwago, Bobi Wine’s condition is so grave that everybody broke down in tears.

“They are panicking and they don’t know what is going to happen. That’s why they can’t allow in the media. Bobi Wine is in a very very bad state. You can’t help but shed tears if you a real human being. It’s very terrible”. 

A military doctor told the Lord Mayor that they are working round the clock for they don’t know what might happen next. The legislator might be taken for further treatment in a hospital.
