VIDEO: Free Bobi Wine protests extend to Mukono, Kibuye

Protests calling upon the government to free detained Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi have spread to towns outside Kampala.

In Mukono, 18 kilometers outside Kampala, police has been forced to fire teargas and live bullets to contain the growing crowds. The same has been reported in Kibuye along Entebbe Road.

Unconfirmed reports have also been reported in Jinja where protestors are threatening to cut the Nile bridge. 

In Kampala, Reuters Photojournalist James Akena was assaulted and arrested for covering street protests that erupted earlier today.
