Mourners chase Minister Gen. Jeje Odongo, Emilian Kayima from Kirumira’s burial ceremony

Mourners have chased Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Jeje Odongo and police spokesperson Emilian Kayima from in Mpambire, Mpigi district where slain policeman Muhammad Kirumira will be buried. 

With stones, the mourners demanded that all police officers including those guarding the minister flee the home immediately before they do any harm.

It should be noted that Kayima’s statements about his counterpart during his trial have, according to analysts, been short of professional and could have landed the mouthpiece into problems with the mourners. 

Will cheers have however been accorded to Dr Kiiza Besigye, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago as they made his way to the burial grounds.
