The four jets that the Ugandan government ordered from Bombardier and Airbus for the revamping of Uganda Airlines will soon be landing down on the soils of the Pearl of Africa, according to Civil Aviation Authority. Over the weekend, the four bombardier CRJ-900 (CRJ9) planes took the skies for the first time in Montreal, Canada, and after the test they were confirmed ready to do the job.

The national aviation body earlier today uploaded on their social media pages the video of one of the planes successfully taking to the skies.

The plan for Uganda Airlines to re-commence operations this year now seems to be right on track. The plan apparently is to have Uganda Airlines starting with flights to 19 destinations around Africa, with international flights projected to start by 2024.
