Is it because he got no position in the People Power ‘cabinet’? Bajjo calls off fundraising marathon for Bobi Wine

City events promoter Andrew Mukasa popularly known as Bajjo has called off the intended countrywide marathon for singer-cum-politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

Bajjo’s decision comes after his close ally Jennifer Full Figure revealed that the promoter’s intention of organizing the marathon was very much parallel to what they were telling the public.

“Bajjo was planning to organize the marathon not to help Bobi Wine but to make a big sale of his kits,” alleged motor-mouthed Full Figure.

However, Bajjo denied the allegations saying he can never lower himself down to an extent of trying to make profits out of Bobi Wine’s woes. He thereafter denounced the plans of organizing the marathon.

“As a person who was part of the organizing committee, I announce that the marathon will not happen,” said Bajjo.

A month ago, Bajjo and colleague Abbey Musinguzi aka Abitex held a press conference at Mix Lounge, Centenary Park and revealed their plans of organising a countrywide marathon for singer Bobi Wine. They claimed that their motive was to help Bobi Wine make some money through the proceeds since he was blocked from staging shows.

“We are organising a marathon for Bobi Wine where he will be the chief runner. He will come from his house all the way to Gayaza town. It will see him get some of the money from the cancelled concerts,” Bajjo said during the presser before he shortly got arrested by plain clothed officers.

The said marathon is now called off.
