Ever since the government of Uganda through Ministry of Works and Transport revived the national air carrier that is Uganda Airlines, all has been rainbows, sunsets and butterflies.

Today, the airline has successfully made its maiden flight from its hub at Entebbe International Airport to Moi International Airport in Mombasa.

Deservedly, the airline’s management said that all the seats on this Uganda Airlines flight UR 342 to Mombasa were booked by commercial passengers so there was nothing like a free flight to anyone.

This is good news, considering the fact that it was the maiden flight and so we can only hope it continues to register these numbers on other flights for different routes.
