Despite incidents of indiscipline against the public, Uganda’s People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) is generally renowned to have discipline and good relationship with Wananchi (common person).

A photo is making rounds on social media where male soldiers are seen helping a woman to give birth. According to sources, the soldiers are attached to the UPDF Division Infantry barracks.

The humanity action is said to have happened last night along Gulu City streets. Sources reveal that the mother managed to deliver safely before she was taken to Gulu Hospital for further management.
