Nexus Bar Owner, Ivan Kakooza dies

The owner of the Najjera popular hangout (Nexus Lounge) Ivan Kakooza has passed on.

 Kakooza died today morning from Mulago Referral Hospital where he has been undergoing treatment.

According to one of Kakooza’s close friends, he has been sick for the past two weeks.

“He has been sick and the last time we met he told me he had mere Malaria,” said Kakooza’s friend

However it is believed Kakooza died of Covid 19. Today, his bar would be celebrating its fourth anniversary.

Nexus has grown into a popular night spot within and has been affected by Covid 19.

Last year during the third anniversary bash on October 9,2019, Kakooza said that he chose to celebrate on Independence day because it had been three years of great success.
