Breaking news coming in indicates that former Commander of Defense Forces (CDF) General Katumba Wamala has survived an assassination in Bukoto.
Unknown four armed assailants riding on two black motorbikes shot at his convoy, according to eye witnesses. He was riding with the daughter, driver and bodyguard.
He has been rushed to hospital but one of his body guards is said to have died from bullet wounds.
