Enanga said that the officer will be charged with the misuse of a firearm.

The injured traffic police officer, Police Constable Robert Mukebezi is undergoing treatment at Victoria Hospital.

Mukebezi was shot at as they tried to tow the UPDF vehicle that had knocked a signpost of Kobil fuel station.

“In the process, the soldiers shot and injured the traffic police officer. This was an act of impunity, brutality, and unprofessionalism by the individual officers,” Enanga said.
