Police in Kampala have arrested two individuals in connection with a burglary at the T.M.K Loans Service office, resulting in the theft of 104 national identity cards and Shs4 million in cash.

On September 3, at around 7:30 pm, Kwikiriza Evans, aged 22 and a resident of Katuga East in Mitanda Parish, Kiwunga Sub-county, Ntungamo District, allegedly stole 104 national identity cards and Shs4 million from a safe. It was revealed that Evans had collected the money while serving as a loans officer at T.M.K Loans Service on Kanaba-Ndejje Busabala Road.

Police investigations suggest that the theft was a premeditated act, orchestrated by Evans and Rubogo Sam, a former employee of the same company.
