Kajoba played as a goalkeeper for the Uganda Cranes and also went on to be the goalkeeping coach for the National Team. He was part of the technical team that guided Uganda Cranes to the 2017 and 2019 AFCON finals.

On Tuesday, a moment of silence was observed during all Uganda Premier League (UPL) games in honour of his contribution to Ugandan football.

At the time of his passing, he was the goalkeeping coach at the Tanzanian side Ihefu FC.
