Kawempe police have arrested James Luwaga for allegedly murdering his girlfriend, Dorah Nalubega, in a tragic incident that has left the community in shock. The couple, both residents of Kazo Central One Zone in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District, reportedly had a heated argument after Nalubega accused Luwaga of stealing Shs200,000.

Following the dispute, Nalubega left their home but later returned to collect their child. It was at this moment, according to eyewitnesses, that Luwaga allegedly grabbed a panga and fatally attacked her, slashing her neck.

Neighbors were alerted by her desperate screams and rushed to the scene, only to find Luwaga attempting to flee. Acting swiftly, they apprehended him and handed him over to the authorities. Inside the house, they discovered Nalubega’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood.
