A 50-year-old man from Luuka District collapsed and died during a secret sexual encounter in a bush on the night of 18 May 2026, just days after his wife had a baby.
Police identified the deceased as Simon Kalamu, a resident of Namulanda B Village in Bukooma sub-county.
According to Busoga North Police Spokesperson Samson Lubega, Kalamu left his home around 9:00 pm and went into a nearby bush with a 40-year-old neighbour.
Preliminary findings suggest Kalamu collapsed while the two were having sex. The woman alerted nearby residents, who then informed local authorities.
Kalamu’s body has been taken for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
The 40-year-old woman is helping police with investigations. Police said Kalamu left his wife at home caring for their newborn at the time of the incident.
