A 34-year-old Arsenal fan has died in Kampala after an argument with a Manchester United supporter turned violent.

Police say the incident happened on Sunday at around 6:30 p.m. in Bakuli, Kampala Central Division. The victim, Denis, worked as a boda boda rider and lived in the area.

According to preliminary investigations, Denis got into a disagreement with a man identified only as Musiramu, who is believed to be a Manchester United fan.

The argument quickly escalated into a fight. Police allege that Musiramu struck Denis on the head, causing him to collapse and die on the spot.

Denis’s body was taken to Mulago National Referral Hospital for a postmortem examination.

Police at Old Kampala are investigating the case as murder. Efforts to arrest the suspect are ongoing.
