Uganda’s She Cranes yesterday evening failed to match England’s hard-boiled display at the opening Group D fixture of the 2019 Netball World Cup campaign in Liverpool.

The England Roses defeated She Cranes 64-32 in a game where Uganda had to endure playing with six players in the final quarter. Stella Oyella was first suspended for two minutes in the third quarter before she was sent off for repeated breaches.

Uganda’s captain and goal shooter Peace Proscovia put up a strong show in her individual encounters despite always looking isolated upfront.
