Fashion designer Sylvia Owori is flying Uganda’s fashion flag high. She is currently in London to open up a store in the Queen’s land.
Owori showcased her works at the Africa Fashion week in London in August and the response for her designs was so overwhelming that she decided to look around and find space for a permanent place where people can walk in and buy her designs.
“Dreams do come true. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers,” an elated Owori said before flying to London yesterday.
She recently also introduced her Africa My heritage T-shirt line that is very popular.

Her shop is located on Oxford Street in London.
She is also planning to open another store in Nairobi.
