Victoria University opens March intake

Victoria University operates on a trimester system and if you missed out on last year’s intake, you don’t have to wait until August when most Ugandan universities will admit students for the next intake. Victoria has a March intake that is now open.

The university that is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and practical skills development, offers a broad spectrum of academic programs tailored to diverse career and educational goals. From Master’s degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas to Bachelor’s degrees, Diplomas, Higher Education Certificates, and short courses, the university provides something for everyone, ensuring a pathway to personal and professional growth.

If you are a Ugandan national, the required documents include a copy of Diploma or Certificate (if applicable), copies of UACE and UCE result slips, a National ID, Passport, or Birth Certificate, two passport photos and admission fees of Shs250,000.

The university has been looking at providing education to students from all over the continent and they recently had outreaches in West and Southern African. They are a melting pot of African culture with students from all over the continent.

To join as an African student, you need a copy of equated Diploma transcript or Certificate (if applicable) from the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE), equated secondary school certificate from the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), National ID, Passport, or Birth Certificate, two passport photos and admission fee of $78.
