Police issues security and traffic guidelines ahead of Sunday’s Rotary Cancer Run

The Uganda Police Force has issued security and traffic guidelines ahead of Sunday’s Rotary Cancer Run. 

According to Norman Musinga, commander Kampala Metropolitan traffic, parking is only available at City High and Hotel Africana and the start and end points for the run are Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

Police Spokesperson, Emilian Kayima said the police is ready to offer security to the participants but warned against recklessness. 

“Take care of your cars, items, and children. If possible, run with your children. But if you can, do not carry many items to the Rotary Cancer Run.”

The Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah will be the Chief Runner. 

The Centenary Bank sponsored run is on Sunday and late bird tickets are available at Capital Shoppers, Bulange Mengo, Rotary Office on 9th Floor NIC Building, Game Stores Lugogo and Centenary Bank ‘s branches and Airtel shops at Shs25,000.
