Smirnoff Uganda on Saturday night lived up to its reputation of being the ultimate party companion as the vodka brand took over the famous NTV Dance Party with the launch of their new digital campaign dubbed “We are the Party”.

The campaign will see viewers/audiences participate in a three-part series of challenges throughout the festive season and win prizes with the Smirnoff starter pack being the ultimate prize; a fully loaded gift pack that comes with a crate of Smirnoff, 2 bottles of vodka, a bar set up, a mixologist and a DJ delivered right at a win’s doorstep, for their enjoyment.

The campaign that started with the “dress up to go nowhere challenge” saw the NTV set transformed and draped in Halloween style costumes designed to suit the American-style holiday. The challenge saw viewers given a chance to dress up in their favorite night out attire, take photos while enjoying themselves and relaxing at home with a Smirnoff, and share across all social media platforms with the hashtags #DressedToGoNowhere and #WeAreTheParty to stand a chance to win themselves the Smirnoff starter pack. The picture with the most likes, shares and comments in the next two weeks will win.

Speaking at the launch UBL’s Head of International Premium Spirits, Annette Nakiyaga described the campaign as a perfect festive season kick-starter, set to offer the best party experience for the winner and their family and friends with and safety in mind.

“The true nature of Smirnoff is to breathe life into your party, so invite us into your home by participating in the challenges. Join the challenge now and dress up to go nowhere as we wind down 2020,” she said.

The campaign comes at a very good time especially with the closure of hangout spots still in place due to COVID 19 restrictions hence participants will get the opportunity to enjoy themselves safely and in the comfort of their own home with several other challenges lined up till the end of the year.

The night climaxed with a Performance from Nigerian star Skales and Uganda’s up coming star Zuli Tums.
