Mc Kats vows to inspire young people living with HIV/AIDS as King of the Mic returns for third edition

After registering success in the first two editions of the ‘King Of Mic’ concerts, celebrated media personality and emcee Edwin Katamba alias Mc Kats, is set to host the 3rd edition ‘The King of the Mic’.

The concert will this time take place in Mbarara on June 3. It will feature another headlining act and this time it is not a singer or Deejay but Caroline Marcah, TV presenter and a close associate of Kats.

According to Kats, he will be emceeing with Marcah to prove to the people of Mbarara that he is still the celebrated king of the microphone and Marcah is the queen.

Kats also revealed that this year’s event will focus on inspiring young people living with HIV/AIDS.

He further disclosed that he intends to move around the country talking to young people.

“I have moved in many offices asking them to stand with me in inspiring the young generation with AIDS but they are not willing to help and I am tired.

I am starting it myself and I am starting in Mbarara. Though I don’t have much, I am going to use the MIC and the little money I have and try reaching out to these young people,” Kats said.
