For the past decade, Umutoni Monalisa aka Mona Faces has been at the heart of Uganda’s makeup revolution, transforming faces, breaking barriers, and inspiring a new wave of beauty entrepreneurs.

Now, Johnnie Walker Uganda is raising a glass to the woman who started it all- Mona, through their She Walks program, an initiative that celebrates resilient women who take bold strides in their careers.

At just 22, Mona set out to redefine Uganda’s beauty industry, turning her passion into a business at a time when professional makeup artistry was barely recognized. What started as a one-woman dream, has since evolved into a beauty empire, trusted by celebrities, gracing the biggest red carpets, fashion runways, and high-profile events.
