Speke Resort Munyonyo unveils Weekend Staycation Packages with Full-Board Meals, Boat Rides and Pony Rides for Children

Speke Resort Munyonyo is rolling out an ongoing weekend staycation offer, giving individuals, groups of friends, and families a chance to relax and enjoy a full leisure experience by the lakeside.

The popular resort has introduced special weekend packages that combine comfortable accommodation, full-board meals, and fun activities for both adults and children—all at discounted rates.

Under the offer, a Deluxe Room (Single) is priced at $120 (about Shs443,148), while a Deluxe Room (Double) goes for $149 (about Shs550,243). A Superior Room is available at $201 (about Shs742,274), the same rate as an Executive Room.

For guests looking for more space, a One-Bedroom Suite costs $182 (about Shs672,109), while an Executive Suite is priced at $374 (about Shs1.4 million). Higher-end options include a Presidential Cottage at $405 (about Shs1.5 million) and a Presidential Suite at $573 (about Shs2.1 million).

All packages are charged per night, inclusive of taxes, and come with full-board meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

As part of the weekend experience, guests also get access to leisure activities, including a boat ride on the lake and pony rides arranged for children, making it an ideal getaway for families looking to unwind over the weekend.

Speke Resort Munyonyo is a premier 5-star lakeside resort owned by businessman Sudhir Ruparelia. Located on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kampala, it is widely known for hosting major international summits and high-level events.

The resort offers 477 rooms and suites, a variety of restaurants and dining options, a large convention center, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and an equestrian center, making it one of the most complete luxury destinations in Uganda.
