To celebrate World Gin Day, Uganda Waragi has unveiled a new look across its entire range.

The redesign reflects the brand’s commitment to staying relevant while preserving the heritage that has made Uganda Waragi a household name for generations. The refreshed packaging blends tradition with modern style, signalling a new era for the classic gin without losing its authentic identity.

All variants — Premium, Lemon & Ginger, Coconut and Pineapple — now feature a distinctive gold cap, symbolising pride, unity and the shared spirit that brings Ugandans together. The updated design also highlights the iconic Crested Crane soaring through the bold red “UG” lettering, while premium finishing touches and Monde Selection award badges reinforce the brand’s internationally recognised quality.

Speaking about the refresh, Roy Tumwizere, Head of Core Mainstream Spirits at Uganda Breweries, said the new look celebrates both the brand’s rich legacy and the vibrant, modern community that continues to embrace it.

“Uganda Waragi has always been a spirit that unites people. This new look reflects the creativity, confidence and energy of today’s Uganda while staying true to the heritage and legacy that have defined the brand for decades,” he said.

Although the packaging has been transformed, the spirit inside remains unchanged. Consumers will continue to enjoy the same award-winning triple-distilled gin that has been part of countless celebrations, gatherings and memorable moments over the years. The refreshed look serves as an invitation for Ugandans to celebrate their identity, culture and shared heritage with a brand they know and trust.

Consumers can now find the newly redesigned Uganda Waragi bottles at bars, supermarkets and liquor stores across the country, offering the same authentic taste in a bold new package.
