After months of auditions, regional battles, countless hours of rehearsals and unforgettable performances across the country, the journey has led to this moment.
On Friday, 4th July, the country’s most exciting dance crews will come together at Next Media Park for the Tusker Lite Neon Raves Grand Finale, the ultimate celebration of talent, creativity and youth culture.
The invite-only showcase will bring together regional champions and standout performers from Hoima, Masaka, Mbarara, Arua, Gulu and Kampala, creating what is expected to be the fiercest contest of the Neon Raves season.
Since its launch earlier this year, the competition has grown into a platform for young creatives to showcase talent, celebrate culture and express themselves through movement. Along the way, the Neon Raves has uncovered remarkable stories and performances, from theatrical productions in Hoima and standout female crews in Masaka to the cultural energy of Arua, the competitive spirit of Gulu and the polished performances that emerged from Kampala.

Now, all roads lead to the grand finale.
Crews have already arrived in Kampala and are putting the finishing touches on routines that have been refined through months of competition. For many, this will be the biggest stage they have ever performed on.
Adding further prestige to the event is a judging panel that combines expertise in dance, talent development and entertainment. Renowned choreographer and performer Dance Mamweta will be joined by Roy Tumwizire, founder of Troy Studios and one of Uganda’s most respected dance instructors, alongside veteran media personality Gaetano Kaggwa.
The panel will be tasked with determining which crew has what it takes to become Uganda’s ultimate Neon Raves champion.
Beyond the title, there is an added incentive.

The winning crew will earn an opportunity to collaborate with a renowned Ugandan artist on a professional music video, a prize that could open doors beyond the competition and into the wider entertainment industry.
Speaking ahead of the finale, Sandra Againe, the Tusker Lite Brand Manager, said the event represents the culmination of a remarkable national journey.
“One thing that’s stayed with me throughout this journey is the commitment these crews have shown. Some travelled from other regions just to audition. Every crew that has made it to this stage has earned its place through hard work and talent. The finale is a celebration of that journey and an opportunity to showcase just how vibrant Uganda’s dance culture has become.”
For the competitors, the finale represents more than a chance to win.

It is an opportunity to represent their regions, test themselves against the country’s best and leave a mark on a competition that has steadily grown into one of Uganda’s most exciting youth culture platforms.
With the dancers ready, the judges confirmed and the stage prepared, all that remains is for the music to begin.
On July 4, Uganda’s finest dance crews will take to the floor one last time, each hoping to leave Next Media Park as the nation’s ultimate Neon Raves champion.
