On Sunday, brunch faithfuls and soft life ambassadors found their Sunday sanctuary as Silo 15 lounge opened its glass walls to welcome the city’s most stylish crowd for a special Daycation experience.
Laughter spilled out alongside good music, fine food, and even finer tequila.
Now approaching its second anniversary, the Silo Daycation has built a reputation as Kampala’s go-to brunch affair, blending rhythm, flavour, and refinement into a single, unmissable experience. The June edition kept that promise, with Don Julio tequila, once again at the heart of the celebration, anchoring the familiar trio of fine dining, live music, and handcrafted tequila experiences.
Being one of the sunniest months of the year, every guest who walked into Silo 15 lounge got their sun-kissed moment, sealed with a photo at the Don Julio backdrop, instantly recognizable by its sombrero arch, now filled with memories from the past Daycations.
True to form, Don Julio delivered understated luxury throughout the afternoon. The lounge’s mixologists kept the zest flowing with tequila-infused cocktails and slushies, giving guests new and inventive ways to enjoy their tequila; always best shared in good company.

The June edition of the Silo Daycation was a continuation of us standing with our consumers as they usher in the new month, celebrate the first half of the year, and enter into the second half, in true Don Julio style,” said Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager for Tequila and Rum East Africa at UBL.
As the afternoon eased into golden hour, the music took over, turning the lounge into a world of its own. Selector Jay, DJ Alisha, and Melvyn DJ took turns moving the crowd through dancehall, Afrobeats, Afro-house, and Hip-Hop, while MC Josh kept the crowd engaged.
The energy simply kept rising, and Don Julio 1942 influencer Sheliah Gashumba aka Lil Stunner closed the day party with an Amapiano set that gave guests an opportunity to showcase their ‘zepping’ skills.
The Silo Daycation continues to prove that a tequila, music, and food affair is a perfect match, and it is always the start of memorable and good moments.
