600 runners set for 96km KH3 Kampala–Jinja Relay backed by Tusker Lite

On Saturday, 4th July 2026, the Kampala Hash House Harriers (KH3) will hold their annual relay event dubbed the annual relay event dubbed the ‘KH3 Kampala Jinja Relay.’

The ‘Ultimate Beerful Relay,’ backed by Tusker Lite is scheduled to start at 6 am from Kira Town Council roundabout will see about 600 runners from 30 teams from Kampala and beyond embarking on a 96 km journey through the lush sugar plantations of the Sugar Corporation of Uganda and the Mabira Forest Reserve, all the way to Jinja City where participants

The event organizers state that their primary objective is to promote physical fitness among its members while actively participating in corporate social responsibility initiatives and enjoying themselves.

“This year’s Kampala Jinja Relay is not just about the run, it’s about building a sense of community and giving back. The relay not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters a sense of community and corporate social responsibility,” said Hash Master ALice Gitta Oketcho.
