The Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls Association (TCNOGA) on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, launched the fourth edition of the TCNOGA Sports Gala.

This year’s event is slated for August 8, 2026, at the Uganda Information and Communications Technology Institute (UICT) Grounds in Nakawa, the same venue that hosted the presser.

The gala will bring together old girls from Trinity College Nabbingo alongside alumni for a full-day celebration of sport, sisterhood, wellness, and giving back to the community.

TCNOGA President- Marie Solome, revealed that the Nabbingo alumni will be joined by fellow elite girls’ schools’ alumni bodies, e.g. Nabisunsa Girls and Gayaza High, among others, with games like netball, volleyball, basketball, athletics (track races), tug of war, sack race, among others, on the card.

Notably, alumni leagues that are part of the Guinness Old Boys League, e.g. SMACK, SHACK, Mwiri, Namilyango, Butiki, among others, will also participate in the event and will headline the football category.

“It’s a day-long event, so we invite not just Nabbingo alumni but alumni from various schools across the country. Apart from sports, we’ll also be having other activities, including a fusion dance competition featuring music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, among others. We will also be hosting Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, the Second Deputy Katikkiro, as our Chief Guest,” Marie said.

This year’s gala goes beyond sport as TCNOGA rallies behind a fundraising cause that will make a meaningful difference in the community.

One of the major attraction at this year’s gala will be the Guinness Party Village, which will serve as the event’s main entertainment hub. Guests can expect exciting brand activations, music, engaging experiences and exclusive offers on Guinness products throughout the day.

Speaking during the launch, Guinness Brand Manager- Denise Nazzinda said the partnership reflects the brand’s commitment to bringing people together through memorable shared experiences.

“Guinness has proudly supported alumni sports across Uganda for several years. While many know us through established old boys’ leagues, we are equally proud to partner with women’s alumni associations like TCNOGA because we believe alumni sport is for everyone. Events like this create opportunities for people to reconnect, celebrate their shared heritage and build stronger communities, and we are delighted to continue being part of that journey,” she said.

Guinness is joined by Crown Beverages (Pepsi), Pride Bank, St. Catherine’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Wakiso, Next Media, MTN MoMo, Capital FM, Sumz Snacks, Victoria University, Old Mutual, and KCCA as partners of the 2026 TCNOGA Sports Gala.
