He is a celebrated combatant that was part of the struggle that brought the NRM into power, however Brig. Kasirye Gwanga’s known best friend has always been his dog- Bo.
Unfortunately, we come with bad news; Bo is no more! We learnt of the unfortunate passing of Bo over the weekend and we have since learnt that the decorated brigadier has been so low over the past few weeks.
We learnt that Bo died of an attack that weakened him as he was of advanced age. Brig. Gwanga has not made so many public appearances since he was hospitalised last year.
However, a close relative told us that the brigadier accorded Bo a decent burial and spent several weeks mourning ‘his best friend’. We feel your pain Brigadier Gwanga; RIP Bo!
