After conducting a secret DNA test, singer Bobi Wine has denied ever fathering seven-year-old Simon Kyagulanyi with UK based model Saphina Mutebi.

Bobi Wine conducted the DNA when the nkuba kyeyo mother visited with the boy during the festive season.

All along, Bobi thought the boy was a result of a one night stand he had with one of his fans in the UK, where he had gone on tour, until DNA tests proved otherwise.

“I met a one girl in London called Saphina Mutebi. By then I was not married and I made a mistake of my life. It was once and the next week this gal claimed that she was pregnant. Ng’omusajja Omuganda I was happy to have a new member of the family. I have been taking responsibilities as a father and no one was complaining. I took a DNA test and shocking I don’t father Simon,” Bobi Wine said.

Barbie has always welcomed the boy as one of her own children, whenever Bobi brought him to visit the family in Gayaza.

However, it is not that the boy didn’t cause a rift in their relationship. Though they were not married yet, Bobi already had a son, Solomon, with Barbie, when Simon was produced, which put their relationship on the rocks until Barbie came to terms with Bobi’s “mistake” and they later got married.

Bobi says that Shadrack, Shalom and Solomon are his only three biological kids so far.
