Singer Bebe Cool has come out and cleared the air about taking his son Alpha Thierry to an international soccer academy.

During a private chat, Bebe told us he wants Alpha to understand the real conditions and atmosphere of his country, so that it helps him appreciate ‘deeply’ whatever comes his way in future.

Bebe told us that unlike his earlier perceptions, he is opting to have Alpha live a normal life and work hard to achieve his own goals. “Of course as a parent, I have plans for him, but I mean, I want him to hustle like any other Ugandan kid; despite his talent,” Bebe told us.

The singer said that going by his sons achievements at a tender age, he is quite convinced he will make it to one of the best academies, but insisted, he would love competence to lead the way.

In the meantime, Bebe also disclosed that he wants Alpha to attend a day school and use public means- among other things! “I want him to appreciate his country by living a normal life; such that when he makes it big one day; he will understand that things don’t come on a silver platter and therefore, he will have to make very wise decisions!”

Bebe was however tightlipped about which secondary school Alpha will be joining.
