As thousands of Radio’s fans were headed for his burial on Saturday, it was established that the famous city gang of criminals famously known as ‘Kifeesi’ used that chance to harass people.

It was reported that the Kifeesi had taken over various places along Entebbe road and areas around Nakawuka after overpowering the security personnel and went on a robbing spree thus beating up mourners where music producer Genza Paul aka Man Pollo from Zue Records fell prey.

Man Pollo is known for producing singer Aziz Azion’s songs like ‘Am Bad’, ‘Njabala’ by B2C, ‘Omulembe’ and ‘Winner’.

Credible sources and eyewitnesses narrated to us that  Man Pollo was trying to fight and retrieve back his mobile phone and wallet that had been robbed from him by the Kifeesi thieves, he ended up facing a hard fight that left him badly beaten. He was rushed to a nearby clinic on Entebbe road.

Man Pollo’s assault follows two other serious beatings on music producers, one being the late Danz Kumapeesa of Jah Live Records who died because of the nasty head injuries he sustained from the up to know unknown people and producer Ronnie Da Don who was also thumped in the first week of December last year with the police yet to release a formidable report about the constant attacks on the entertainment industry that has left many dead and created a bad reputation on the law enforcers.
