Eddie Mutwe, the personal body guard to Kyadondo East MP has reportedly been remanded to Luzira Prison. According to sources, he was sent to jail yesterday for assaulting and obstructing the arrest of legislator Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine during the demonstration against social media tax.
Police alleges that Eddie Mutwe reportedly grabbed handcuffs from a policeman before the crowd overpowered the police to set free Bobi Wine.
Eddie Mutwe was later arrested at his barbershop located in the city centre.
In related development, Bobi Wine has been summoned to appear at CPS tomorrow, 9am.
