Singer Priscilla Zawedde, popularly known as Azawi, has revealed that she is no longer single and is currently in a private relationship. However, her new partner is not Ugandan.

The talented artist shared that her decision to date someone from outside Uganda stems from a past relationship that ended in heartbreak. She recounted how her experience with a Ugandan man left her disappointed, as he turned out to be married. His behaviour made the relationship difficult and emotionally draining.

“You can’t call him at night for a romantic chat, or meet him whenever you want,” Azawi explained, describing how the secrecy and limitations of the relationship left her feeling depressed.

Firm in her stance against dishonesty, Azawi emphasized that she values loyalty and faithfulness in a relationship. “I can’t tolerate a cheat,” she said, adding, “I don’t want to play with people’s feelings. It’s always one person at a time.”

With her new partner, it seems Azawi is finally finding the peace and stability she deserves.
