Distell, based in South Africa, has a diverse portfolio of brands that include the popular liquor Amarula, Nederburg and 4th Street wines, Hunter’s Ciders, and Scottish Leader whisky.

Speaking toward the launch, LenVolschenk, Distell’s Managing Director for Africa said; “This impeccable partnership is an attractive opportunity for us to increase our consumer reach in the Uganda market by tapping into the expertise and local knowledge of Rwenzori.”

Rwenzori will provide Distell with access to a strong distribution footprint and sales platform, allowing the company to competitively price its brands and make them readily available for the benefit of consumers in Uganda.

The evening climaxed with lots of eats, drinks of course from Distell and Rwenzori, then songbird Lillian Mbabazi overjoyed the guests with her live performance.

Lillian was complimented by traditional dancers and a saxophonist.
