Police in Mbarara has blocked opposition leader Dr Kizza Besigye and colleagues; FDC President Patrick Amuriat, Hon Munyagwa Mubarak and Ingrid Turinawe who are expected to appear in Mbarara High court.
The court premises are under heavy police deployment as the opposition figures are yet to be allowed to access court.
The four opposition figures are jointly accused of holding illegal rallies in Rukungiri district that caused injuries to several police officers and death of Edison Nasasiira Kakuru in October last year.
