Jinja East Polls: 8000 pre-ticked ballot papers in favour of NRM candidate netted, FDC supporters arrested over inciting violence

Over 8000 pre-ticked ballot papers have been recovered in so far five un-gazetted polling stations in Jinja East constituency. Pre-ticked ballot papers all in favour of NRM candidate Igeme Nabeta were found at Iganga Road Polling station and Main Street P/S due to voter vigilance.

According to reports, when the pre-ticked ballot papers were taken to authorities for verification, the serial numbers are found not compatible with the official EC ballot papers.
